Tours are non-sharing and include extensive commentary on the history, terroir, and culture of this picturesque region, plus a fine 2-course lunch and afternoon tea. Tours can also include local food producers and cheese-makers, boutique brewers or town walks. The Daimler is air conditioned, can seat up to 8 guests and was used for tours by the Royal Family in the sixties. Pickup and drop off to Barossa accommodation (included) and Adelaide Pickups (at added cost) is available.

Barossa Valley wine tours are designed to suit individual wine tastes with cellar door tastings tailored to include famous and iconic wineries such as Penfolds, Seppeltsfield and Yalumba, or the smaller family owned boutique gems that only a local would know of. Barossa icons such as Henschke, Torbreck and Charles Meltons can also be included, whatever makes for the best day.
A Barossa full day Daimler tour includes a sumptuous 2-course lunch at Vintners Restaurant, afternoon tea at Maggie Beers Farm Shop, plus all entrance fees and tailored wine tastings. Guests also enjoy detailed and passionate commentary on the history, culture, architecture, terroir and the art of wine making in this world famous region.

Departing from the Barossa, the tour starts with collection at your accommodation at 10am, and you’ll be dropped back at 5pm. The Barossa Valley is approximately a one hour drive to the north of Adelaide.
No two tours are the same as everyone has differing wine likes and preferences. Special experiences can be added including one offering which is not available anywhere else in the world. The ‘Centenary Tour’ at Sepeltsfield Winery allows guests to tour the historic site, and taste the 100 year old Tawny and also the rare experience of drawing from the barrel of the guests birth year. This can be negotiated on the day of the tour and costs an extra $AU150-pp (payable direct).
