Highlights we generally visit are iconic places such as Maggie Beers Farm Shop, Seppeltsfield Winery, enjoy wine tasting and gourmet platter lunch at a winery like Grant Burge Winery. Enjoy visiting Barossa Valley Cheese, the picturesque views of Mengler Hill and to really top of the day wine tasting at one of our tour guides special hidden secrets. Allow our multi award winning team the opportunity to showcase some of the highlights of the Barossa with you.

Your day will start by one of our local guides collecting you from your Barossa Valley accommodation. Your day will be a mixture of wine, food, sights and characters of the Barossa. There are so many wonderful places to showcase so your guide will adjust the itinerary according to group on board. Your first winery you may visit is Murray Street Vineyards. Murray Street Vineyards are family owned winery located in the beautiful town of Greenock. 

Then move onto the very famous Maggie Beers Farm Shop. Here you will get to taste a range of Maggie's produce or sit and enjoy the view. After Maggie's you will travel to the the historic winery of Seppeltsfield. Seppeltsfield is one of Australia's oldest wineries being founded in 1851 by Joseph Ernst Seppelt. You will receive a tasting including selected fortified wine.

Continue your journey to Grant Burge Wines where you will be seated to enjoy your gourmet platter lunch. Grant Burge is well-known for their bubbles however they have something for everyone to taste and enjoy, including the view!

After lunch enjoy the wonderful views of Mengler Hill lookout, showing the overall vista of the beautiful Barossa Valley, truly spectacular and a perfect photo opportunity.  You can even walk through the Barossa Sculpture Park.

Looking to get some local foods to enjoy, the Award Winning Barossa Valley Cheese Company's produce is the perfect place. Barossa Valley Cheese Company located in the town of Angaston is an artisan producer sourcing milk from local dairy's. They offer a range of over 25 cheese some of which you will be able to try.

After Barossa Cheese if time permits your tour guide will include a drivers choice winery, sharing one of their favorites with their guests on tour. A real special offering. Then you will start your trip back to your accommodation in the Barossa Valley.

The day may vary slightly subject to availability but will consist of some wonderful highlights of the Barossa.

Barossa icons such as Henschke, Torbreck and Charles Meltons can also be included, whatever makes for the best day.

A Barossa full day Daimler tour includes a sumptuous 2-course lunch at Vintners Restaurant, afternoon tea at Maggie Beers Farm Shop, plus all entrance fees and tailored wine tastings. Guests also enjoy detailed and passionate commentary on the history, culture, architecture, terroir and the art of wine making in this world famous region.

Meet the winemakers and local characters, indulge in cheese and local produce tastings, and be treated as a VIP at all wineries. Tours are exclusive to one party ensuring flexibility is at a premium.

With only 6 of these rare 1962 Daimlers brought to Australia for the royal tours of the sixties, this is a rare opportunity to tour in such a classic and historic vehicle.

Departing from the Barossa, the tour starts with collection at your accommodation at 10am, and you’ll be dropped back at 5pm. The Barossa Valley is approximately a one hour drive to the north of Adelaide.

No two tours are the same as everyone has differing wine likes and preferences. Special experiences can be added including one offering which is not available anywhere else in the world. The ‘Centenary Tour’ at Sepeltsfield Winery allows guests to tour the historic site, and taste the 100 year old Tawny and also the rare experience of drawing from the barrel of the guests birth year. This can be negotiated on the day of the tour and costs an extra $AU125-pp (payable direct).
